Mi nombre es Elvira Peralta
Nací un 17 de diciembre de 1960 bajo el signo de Sagitario. Tengo 29 años de casada y tengo dos hijos maravillosos, Rodrigo de 28 y Tamara de 24.
Hace 25 años, mi esposo me regaló una muñeca de Annette Himstedt ¡que me fascinó! En ese momento ninguno de los dos imaginábamos el gran tesoro que me estaba dando, fue entonces cuando en mí se despertó lo que hasta el día de hoy es mi hobby, la pasión por las muñecas. A partir de entonces y gracias a la esplendidez de Luis, mi esposo, a cualquier lugar a donde voy busco detalles o accesorios para ellas.
Ahora tengo una colección de más de 500 muñecas, lo que un día me llevó a la gran tarea de transformar el lugar donde las tenía en un museo. Lo que hace especial mi colección es que están expuestas en roperos antiguos y procuro darles vida al ponerlas en alguna acción de la vida cotidiana. Otra cosa que disfruto es que la mayoría de los adornos son artículos reciclados, me encanta transformar lo que para muchos es basura, en algo útil.
Hace 8 años cuando buscaba un bebé recién nacido para mi cunero, descubrí en Internet los REBORN BABIES y me fascinaron tanto que adquirí algunos de esta manera. Tener uno de estos bebés en mis brazos, sentir la textura de su piel, ver su color, el tono del cabello y hasta el mismo peso de un auténtico bebé recién nacido, despertó en mí la curiosidad de saber cómo estaban hechos y me propuse investigar todo acerca de ellos y capacitarme para crear yo misma Reborn Babies en México. He tomado cursos con Ruth Annette Harrington de Londres, Linda Hill de los Estados Unidos y Sherri Boere de Sudáfrica, todas ellas extraordinarias artistas del arte Reborn.
Doy gracias a Dios por tantas bendiciones, por tener a mis amigas Ami, Adriana, Aracely y Beatriz que me acompañan y me apoyan en esta aventura y por ser una persona privilegiada en tener un hobby que me apasiona tanto, ocupa la mayoría de mi tiempo libre y me permite darle alas a mi creatividad y a mi imaginación, pues cada bebé que hago es único y especial.

I was born on December 17, 1960 under the sign of Sagittarius. I've been married for 29 years and have two marvelous children, Rodrigo is 28 and Tamara is 24.
Twenty five years ago my husband gifted me a doll from Annette Himstedt and I loved it! In that moment neither of us imagined the great treasure he was giving me. That's what would be my hobby until today woking up on me, the passion for dolls. Since then and thanks to the generosity of Luis, my husband, in any place I visit, I look for details accessories for my babies.
Now I have a collection of over 500 dolls, that led me to the big endeavor of transforming the place where I kept them to a museum. What makes my collection special is that they are exposed in antique wardrobes and I try to give them life by having the dolls performing an activity. Another thing I enjoy is that most of the decoration is made of recycled material. I love transforming garbage to something useful.
About 8 years ago when I was looking for a new born baby for my nursery, I discovered in internet the REBORN BABIES and I got so fascinated with them than I purchased a few. Having one of those in my arms, feeling the texture of their skin, looking at their color, the tone of the hair and even the authentic weight of a new born baby, woke up on me the curiosity of knowing how they were made and led me to investigate all about them until I could create myself some Reborn Babies in Mexico. I've taken courses with Ruth Annette Harrington from London, Linda Hill from the United States and Sherri Boere from South Africa, all of them extraordinary Reborn artists.
I thank God for so many blessings, for having my friends Ami, Adriana, Aracely and Beatriz that have been with me, supporting me on this adventure and for being a privileged person for having a hobby that gives me so much passion, that takes most of my free time and allows me to let free my creativity as well as my imagination, so every baby I make is unique and special.
